Try simulated game shooting

Raisthorpe Flyers

Malton, North Yorkshire

Try your hand at simulated game shooting of grouse, pheasant, partridge, duck and rabbit with the Raisthorpe Flyers on the Raisthorpe Manor estate.

While many people might want to try shooting, just as many are put off by the thought of firing at live animals – and this top-quality day out puts paid to that by providing a simulated game shoot that rivals the thrill and excitement of a real shoot day.

Located in Malton in North Yorkshire, in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds, Raisthorpe Manor estate boasts some fantastic terrain, enabling them to provide challenging shooting that is as close to real game shooting as you will find.

Days for up to 16 guns start with a breakfast of bacon sandwiches and coffee at the estate’s custom-built shooting lodge before departing at 10am for a first drive.

Guns shoot in pairs that rotate just as they would on a real day. The first shoot is followed by elevenses before a second drive before lunch.

In the afternoon, the team of sixteen is split down in to four groups of four guns. All four teams then shoot a 150 bird flush which is scored.

While the shooting is top quality, it’s often the hospitality that makes a shoot day and this is complimented at Raisthorpe Flyers by their sister company Raisthorpe Manor Fine Foods who provide the shooting club with food and fantastic range of drinks.

Bespoke corporate days and charitable events can also be arranged.
