Sheffield Cable Waterski
If you’re new to cable waterskiing, you’re in for a big surprise. Instead of being pulled around the water by a boat, your harness is attached to a suspended cable that tows you around a lake – think waterskiing but combined with technology similar to that used in an Alpine ski lift.
Approved by British Water Ski and Wakeboard, there are classes for beginners and sessions for the most experienced in kneeboarding, waterskiing and wakeboarding. There’s also a licensed bar overlooking the lake, a cafe and a pro shop tenfeethigh.com selling boards and other equipment. They can also cater for corporate events, birthdays, stag and hen dos and school parties.
Every month, there’s a monthly competition, the Ten Feet High Series that sees some of the best riders in the UK take part, from rookies to pros.
